Production Supervisor – Printing and Finishing – Kirkland Plant
The Production Supervisor will be responsible for managing production staff, coordinating workflows, and ensuring that projects are completed accurately, efficiently, and on schedule. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise in print production processes, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities across printing, finishing, and packaging departments.
- Assign tasks, monitor progress, and provide guidance to production staff to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met.
- Oversee scheduling, job prioritization, and resource allocation to optimize production efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety protocols, and industry standards.
- Conduct regular quality checks and troubleshoot production issues as they arise.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to foster professional development and maintain a strong team culture.
- Collaborate with management, customer service, and other departments to meet client requirements and resolve production challenges.
- Maintain accurate records of production output, downtime, and operational performance.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to drive productivity and cost efficiency.
Qualificationss
- 3+ years of supervisory experience in print production or a related manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of printing processes (offset, digital, wide-format, finishing, etc.).
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed to meet production demands.
- Proficiency with production management software and Microsoft Office Suite preferred.
