At PDI, we believe it is important to maintain an environmentally friendly workplace. We use ecological vegetable-based inks, recycle our blanket wash on-site for reuse and treat our water before returning it to the community. We also have our paper, solvents, metals and rags recycled off-site.

In April 2003, as a testament to our environmental commitment, our manufacturing operation was the first large sheet-fed facility in the province of Quebec to obtain a Chain of Custody certification from the Forest Stewardship Council^® (FSC^®). Now, papers can be certified FSC^®, SFI, or PEFC, they may be fabricated using the renewable energy of wind power or using biogas, or they may be bleached with a chlorine free process. PDI helps clients navigate through the environmental terminology, and enables them to make informed and responsible decisions with regard to paper selection.
